Introducing the Ludhiana Manufacturing Facility

Brightstar Telecommunications India Limited, Hambran (Ludhiana) is the first unit of Bharti Enterprises (now Brightstar Telecommunication) – a leading telecom company. It started commercial production in June 87 for manufacturing Push Button Phones, in technical collaboration with Siemens AG. Our Manufacturing Facility History at a Glance:

  • Manufactured telephone answering machines in collaboration with Takacom Japan.
  • Manufactured cordless phones in collaboration with Lucky Goldstar South Korea.
  • Provided technical assistance to Sembule Electronics, Uganda.
  • First Indian company in the telecom sector to be ISO-9000 certified in 1994.
  • Majority market share in all segments of customers i.e. BSNL/MTNL, Private Service Providers and Retail Sale.
  • Exported 7 million phones to more than 30 countries i.e. USA, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Hong Kong (Thomson - GE), Sri Lanka, Nepal, Maldives etc.
